We started with this beautiful 1956 airstream safari shell, and created a custom build for our client that sleeps 4 comfortably. The birch plywood and the black nickel flooring creates a clean living space that is made for durability. The primary focus for this build was on the kitchen and sleeping areas. 2 twin size beds were crafted in the back with storage drawers underneath one, and the other houses the electrical and water heating components easily accessible underneath. The kitchen includes beautiful hardwood countertops, a sink that folds flush when not in use, a 2 burner stovetop, and a custom latching drawer that pulls out for a dometic fridge cooler. The front dinette doubles as a bed when the table is lowered easily with the tab on the hydraulic pedestal. All the lighting, electric, plumbing, tanks, ect are brand new and we are glad we were able to give this vintage airstream a second life!
